Munich's Long Night of Music rolls out live blues on a moving tram

Munich is gearing up for the Long Night of Music with extra transport and live entertainment. The city’s public transport operator, MVG, will run a special tram featuring live performances as part of the 150 Years of Trams celebration. Free shuttle buses will also help attendees move between venues across the city.

On May 9, the Ois is Blues Tram will depart from Sendlinger Tor, offering passengers live blues, folk, and rock music. This special service is part of Munich’s 150 Years of Trams anniversary, blending transport with entertainment for the event.

The MVG will operate **four free shuttle bus routes**, connecting **Odeonsplatz** to various event locations. While these shuttles are included in the *Long Night of Music* admission ticket, regular public transport will still require separate fares. Attendees can use the shuttles to navigate the city without extra cost, but standard tickets remain necessary for other journeys.

The Ois is Blues Tram and free shuttles aim to make the Long Night of Music more accessible. Live performances on the tram will add to the festival atmosphere, while the buses provide convenient travel between venues. Separate fares for regular transport, however, will still apply for those arriving or leaving the event.
