Wolfenbüttel: Fix It, Don't Toss It—Repair Café Returns

Repairing beloved items instead of throwing them away—that's the mission of Wolfenbüttel's Repair Café. The next session takes place on Thursday, April 30.

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the café will welcome anyone looking to save cherished household or garden items from the trash. At the Auguststadt neighborhood center (Dr.-Heinrich-Jasper-Straße 22), visitors can team up with repair experts to fix anything small enough to carry by hand.

Tools and Supplies on Hand Measuring devices, tools, and spare parts are all provided, while coffee and cookies—available for a small donation—help make the work more enjoyable. To cut down on wait times, organizers recommend signing up in advance via the website:
