Nizhny Novgorod Residents Introduced to Works by Talented Young Artists—Many Studio Graduates Now Professional Ceramists and Designers
Young Ceramic Artists Shine in Nizhny Novgorod's New Exhibition
Artworks created by children are now on display at the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum.
The exhibition features pieces by students of the Sirin Children's Model Ceramics Studio, founded in 1990 by Yelena Vagina—a Nizhny Novgorod ceramic artist and member of the Russian Artists' Union. She remains the studio's director, and its alumni have gone on to become professional artists, ceramists, and designers.
"On behalf of all our children and teachers, I would like to thank the art museum for this invitation," said Yelena Vagina. "We've been given the opportunity to showcase our creativity in this magnificent hall, in the heart of our city, with the Kremlin just beyond these walls. The children will truly appreciate this."
Audience: Suitable for all ages.
