Tourist office extends hours and adds Saturday openings in 2026

The local tourist information office is extending its opening hours from June 1, 2026. The changes come after Jonas Schmidt joined the team to help expand services for visitors, locals, and guests alike. Staff have expressed enthusiasm about welcoming more people during the new standard hours. Starting in June, the office will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM every weekday. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, it will also reopen in the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. However, the office will remain closed on Wednesday afternoons.

In addition to the weekday schedule, the office will now open on Saturdays from April to September. During these months, visitors can drop in between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Outside of regular hours, the team will continue to offer support via email. Jonas Schmidt’s arrival has made the expanded schedule possible. His role will focus on improving services for both tourists and residents. The municipal team has prepared for the changes and is ready to assist more people throughout the week.

The new hours take effect on June 1, 2026, with Saturday openings running until September. The office will maintain email access for enquiries beyond its standard schedule. These adjustments aim to provide better support for all visitors and the local community.
