Salzgitter's Music School Days kick off with concerts and workshops for all ages
The Salzgitter Municipal Music School is hosting its annual Music School Days in June. The event will feature concerts, workshops, and interactive sessions for all ages. A special guest concert by Hanover University’s gifted programme will open the festivities on June 7 at 5:00 PM in the Fürstensaal of Schloss Salder. The celebrations begin with a performance by talented young musicians from Hanover University. Their concert on June 7 marks the official start of the four-day event.
From June 8 to June 11, visitors can explore an Instrument Showcase, where they can try out different instruments. Student performances will also take place throughout these days, offering a chance to hear emerging local talent.
On June 8 at 3:00 PM, the 'Fidolino' ensemble will present a musical story called Travel Fever in the Kulturscheune. The following day, June 9, a lap harp workshop starts at 10:30 AM, followed by a crossover concert at 7:15 PM in the same venue.
Family concerts will run daily from Tuesday to Thursday at 4:00 PM in the Alte Feuerwache hall. An adult musical evening is scheduled for June 10 at 7:30 PM.
The event wraps up on June 11 with a serenade concert at 7:00 PM in the Kulturscheune. Earlier that day, seated dancing and a Music and Dance for All session will take place. The Music School Days offer a mix of performances, workshops, and hands-on activities. The programme includes opportunities for both participation and entertainment. The final serenade concert on June 11 will bring the event to a close.
