Sochi's Biryuza Park undergoes vibrant transformation with new greenery and pathways
Biryuza Park in Sochi is getting a fresh look as part of ongoing improvements. The upgrades will bring new paving, lighting, and greenery to the area along Lazarev Street. Work is also taking place along the nearby Psezuapse River embankment.
The project includes over 200 new plants along the riverbank. Oleanders, balsams, gazanias, white petunias, and ageratums have been added to brighten the space. Around 180 square metres of paving stones and new curb stones have already been laid.
By June 20, 2026, Biryuza Park will feature updated walkways, modern lighting, and extra seating. Freshly planted greenery will complete the transformation, making the park more inviting for visitors.
The improvements will give both the park and the embankment a renewed appearance. New paving, lighting, and plants are set to enhance the area’s usability and visual appeal. The work is expected to finish by mid-2026.
