Geisa's Wild West Family Festival Kicks Off June 20, 2026
A family festival with a 'Cowboys & Native Americans' theme is coming to Geisa on June 20, 2026. The event, organised by the Geisa Floodplain Association, will start at 2 PM and take place at the Ulsteraue floodplain. Special guests Apahatschi and Shaman Lenny will also make appearances during the celebrations. The Geisa Floodplain Association has been working hard to prepare the site for the festival. Volunteers are busy clearing the stream and picking up litter around the water playground. Their efforts aim to make the area welcoming for all visitors.
The festival will offer a variety of activities for families. Children’s games, face painting, and a campfire will be part of the fun. Live music and food stalls will also be available throughout the day. The association is actively seeking new members and volunteers to help with cleanup and event organisation. They encourage anyone interested in supporting their work to get in touch directly. Their goal is to show how community spirit grows when people work together. The Ulsteraue floodplain is a space for everyone, and the association remains committed to preserving and improving it for future events.
The festival will bring families together for a day of games, music, and food. The association’s ongoing work ensures the floodplain remains a well-maintained space for the community. Those wishing to volunteer or join the group can reach out to contribute to future projects.
