A 9,000-Sq-Ft Home Redefines Luxury with Understated Warmth
A newly designed residence spanning 9,000 square feet blends spaciousness with warmth. Architects Archis Patel and Tanvi Rajpurohit of a+t associates crafted the home to feel personal rather than imposing. Their approach focused on subtlety and lived-in comfort over bold statements.
The design avoids flashy elements, instead prioritising restraint and thoughtful craftsmanship. Large rooms were carefully balanced with textures, proportions, and furniture to maintain a sense of intimacy. The goal was to create an atmosphere of effortless ease throughout the space.
Patel and Rajpurohit chose materials and layouts that soften the home’s scale. Decorative excess was replaced with quiet details, ensuring the interiors feel welcoming. The result is a residence that feels both expansive and cosy, where every element serves a purpose.
The finished home stands as a testament to understated design. Its 9,000 sq ft are shaped by proportion and texture rather than grandeur. The architects’ focus on warmth and functionality delivers a space that feels inherently personal.
