Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival Celebrates 18 Years of Creativity and Community

The 18th annual Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival has returned for its yearly Mother’s Day weekend celebration. Organised by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces and volunteer artists, the event draws crowds with its mix of visual art, live music, and family-friendly activities. This year’s festival showcased nearly 175 artists and artisans working across different mediums. Alongside the art, visitors enjoyed local acoustic music, food and drink stalls, and interactive booths. The event also included dedicated activities for children, ensuring entertainment for all ages.

The festival has earned national recognition in the past, ranking among the Top 100 arts festivals by *Sunshine Artist Magazine*. Free to attend, it welcomed families, art lovers, and even dogs to Chastain Park. Organisers provided free parking near the amphitheatre to make access easier. Running until 5 p.m. on Sunday, the event maintained its reputation as a vibrant community gathering. The combination of art, music, and food created a lively atmosphere for Mother’s Day celebrations.
