Stockton Chamber Seeks Five New Board Members to Fuel Local Growth

The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce is looking for five new members to join its board of directors. Volunteers are invited to apply by 5 p.m. on April 1, with the chamber aiming to boost local business growth and community development.

The chamber currently has 15 board members, representing key sectors like real estate, finance, healthcare, education, and manufacturing. Its latest recruitment drive seeks individuals eager to strengthen Stockton's business environment and wider community.

Lorie Liddicoat, vice president of the chamber's executive board, has firsthand experience of its impact. She credits the organisation's support for helping her own small business, Liddicoat CRE, expand. Meanwhile, CEO Timm Quinn emphasises the link between a thriving business sector and a stronger community overall.

The chamber's goals include promoting Stockton's positive attributes to attract new businesses and investments. By increasing its board's diversity and expertise, it hopes to drive further economic opportunities in the area.

Applications for the five vacancies must be submitted before the April 1 deadline. The selected candidates will join a board focused on enhancing Stockton's appeal to investors and fostering local business success. Their roles will contribute directly to the chamber's mission of building a more prosperous community.
