DelCo Ag's Inaugural Brunch in the Barn

DelCo Ag's Brunch in the Barn unites farming and charity this May

DelCo Ag is bringing the community together for food, fun, and a good cause with its inaugural Brunch in the Barn on Saturday, May 31st at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Beef Barn and Farm Bureau Showring in Manchester.

This family-friendly event will feature a free will donation pancake and sausage breakfast served from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Proceeds will benefit local food banks and pantries, supporting families across the community.

"Brunch in the Barn is a way to bring people together, share a meal, and highlight the role agriculture plays in our everyday lives," said Jade Schnieder, Delaware County Farm Bureau board member. "We're also proud to support local food assistance programs that make a difference right here at home."

In addition to breakfast, attendees can enjoy interactive agriculture exhibits, hands-on activities for kids, opportunities to meet local farmers, and educational displays about modern farming and food production.

DelCo Ag is a partnership between the Delaware County Farm Bureau, Delaware County Cattlemen, Delaware County Pork Producers, and Delaware County Dairy Promoters. The group works to promote agriculture, support local producers, and strengthen connections within the community.

Through their annual DelCo Ag Classic golf fundraiser, the organization has raised more than $36,000 in the past three years, demonstrating a strong commitment to giving back and investing in local initiatives. Brunch in the Barn continues that effort by creating another opportunity to give back locally.
