A Scenic 5.7-Kilometer Loop Through Hobbersdorfer Holz

This peaceful 5.7-kilometer circular route starting in Groß Parin winds through Hobbersdorfer Holz, a tranquil mixed forest with gentle terrain and well-maintained paths. Perfect for relaxed walks with your dog, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Location and Access

Starting point: Groß Parin (near Lübeck). The trailhead is located at the forest's edge, with parking available nearby. No heavily trafficked roads in the immediate vicinity.

The path primarily follows firm natural and gravel trails through dense woodland, offering pleasant shade—ideal for warm days. A particular highlight is the meandering stream section, where water gently winds through the greenery. A bench by the bank invites a short rest while dogs explore the area, sniffing through leaves or wandering nearby.

The route is easy to navigate and rich in variety, featuring ancient trees, soft forest floors, and quiet, seldom-used trails. A great choice for leisurely strolls or light exercise on the go.

Note: Dogs must be kept on a leash—Hobbersdorfer Holz is home to deer and other wildlife. After rain, some sections of the path may become muddy.
