Neuwied Garden Market celebrates 20 years with blooms, art and family fun

The Neuwied Garden Market returns for its 20th year, filling the city centre with plants, flowers, and family activities. Running on April 13 and 14, the event spans 12,000 square metres and offers everything from gardening advice to special Sunday shopping. The market opens on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and continues on Sunday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors will find vendors selling flowers, vegetables, fruits, houseplants, and succulents. Alongside the plant stalls, art exploring the theme of 'the garden as a cultural space' will be on display.

For those arriving by car, a shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes between the Heddesdorf fairgrounds and Schlosstheater during market hours. A plant transport service is also available at the tourist information office to help shoppers carry their purchases. On April 13 and 14, Karl-Heinz Konrad will host a 'Plant Clinic', offering expert care advice. Families can enjoy a dedicated programme on Sunday, which includes special shopping opportunities.

The Neuwied Garden Market has drawn crowds for two decades, blending gardening, art, and family entertainment. This year’s edition promises practical tips, convenient transport, and a wide selection of plants for all visitors.
