Moers Launches Tummelferien 2026: Summer Fun for Kids Now Open for Registration
Summer Fun, Sports, and Plenty of Holiday Adventures Await
This summer, the program once again promises games, physical activity, and loads of holiday fun. A total of 850 children can take part this year, spread across six activity hubs in Asberg, Eick, Kapellen, Repelen, Meerbeck, and the city center. The team at Moers' Children and Youth Office (Kinder- und Jugendbüro, KJB) has already put together a diverse schedule. Registration opens on Monday, April 13, at 8:30 AM, with sign-ups possible until July 10.
Online Registration Recommended
"We recommend registering online—it's the fastest and most convenient way," explains Robert Hüttinger of the KJB. Each child must be registered individually through the online system. The participation fee is €60, or €30 for holders of the Moers-Pass. Payments can be made online via PayPal, Mastercard, or Visa. In-person registration at the Children and Youth Office is also an option (cash only), though availability is limited and requires a completed registration form. After technical issues last year, the online system is now stable and remains the easiest and most reliable way to secure a spot. Initially, registration is open exclusively to children from Moers. From June 6, any remaining places—depending on availability—may be offered to children from other cities.
