Historic Walnut Creek jeweler reopens after a stunning year-long renovation

Davidson & Licht, a historic jewellery store in Walnut Creek, has reopened after a major renovation. The newly transformed space blends modern design with the shop’s century-old heritage. Work on the project lasted nearly a year before its early 2026 debut. The renovation began in September 2024, marking the start of a 10-month construction effort. While work was underway, the store operated from a temporary location in Broadway Plaza. The project completely overhauled the interior, resulting in a striking two-level layout.

The updated store now features a sleek facade of glass and stone. Despite the modern upgrades, elements of its classic design remain. Located on Main Street in downtown Walnut Creek, it sits next to Spitz Jewelers and close to Highline Jewelers.

The revamped Davidson & Licht now offers a refreshed shopping experience. Its blend of contemporary style and historical touches reflects the store’s long-standing presence in the community. The renovation ensures the business continues to serve customers in a renewed setting.
