Sustainability You Can Touch: Freiburg's Mundenhof Focuses on the Future

On Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Market for Tomorrow will take place at Mundenhof in Freiburg. According to the city, numerous educational institutions and initiatives will offer interactive activities centered on climate protection, biodiversity, and sustainable development.

Visitors of all ages can engage hands-on at various stations, exploring topics such as renewable energy, sustainable nutrition, and environmental education. The goal is to convey knowledge in an accessible way while showcasing practical solutions for everyday life.

Mundenhof will also unveil its new Garden of the Future. The program will be rounded out with guided tours by the Weltacker association, as well as activities for children and families. Local initiatives and organizations will present their work as well.

The event is open to all age groups and aims to strengthen awareness of sustainable action, the city says.
