In May, students from the Wiesbaden Music Academy (WMA) will once again take the stage with a series of evening concerts at Kulturforum, Friedrichstraße 16. The program kicks off with three diverse performances, offering a glimpse into the broad stylistic range and high artistic caliber of the academy's training. More events will follow throughout the month.

The series begins on Thursday, May 7, at 7:00 PM with a piano recital featuring students of Professor Franz Vorraber. The program includes celebrated works from the piano repertoire, such as Claude Debussy's Clair de Lune, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Sonata in F Major, and Franz Schubert's Impromptus. The evening will also showcase pieces spanning from Johann Sebastian Bach to Sergei Rachmaninoff.

On Monday, May 11, at 7:30 PM, a strings recital will highlight the cello, featuring students from Bianca Breitfeld's class. They will be joined by a viola student from Tilman Lauterbach's studio and a violin student from Alexander Bartha's class. The performance will include compositions by Benedetto Marcello, Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms, Camille Saint-Saëns, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Dmitri Shostakovich.
