Ed Reed Foundation's Fitness Day inspires Baltimore middle schoolers with health and teamwork
Students at T. Booker Middle School in Baltimore recently took part in the Ed Reed Foundation’s annual Fitness Day. The event brought together young people for activities focused on health, teamwork, and personal growth. Former NFL players and community supporters joined in to encourage the students. The day was organised to teach students about healthy living and essential life skills. Activities included fitness challenges, teamwork exercises, and discussions on well-being. Former Baltimore Ravens player Ed Reed attended, stressing the importance of staying active and looking after physical health.
Brian Hall, another ex-Ravens linebacker, also spoke at the event. He highlighted how early exposure to healthy habits can shape children’s futures. The programme relied on the efforts of volunteers, partners, and sponsors, including MURN Properties and CFG Bank. Students engaged in group exercises designed to build confidence and cooperation. The foundation’s goal was to plant lasting lessons about empowerment and self-care in young minds.
The event provided hands-on experiences to promote fitness and personal development. With support from local organisations and former athletes, students gained practical skills for healthier lifestyles. The foundation plans to continue similar initiatives in the future.
