King Charles unveils Highgrove-inspired designs at Chelsea Flower Show

The Chelsea Flower Show is underway this week at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, running until Saturday. Alongside it, the Chelsea in Bloom festival has transformed local shops with vibrant floral displays. Among the highlights is Sanderson’s latest Highgrove-inspired collection, unveiled with a visit from King Charles himself. King Charles toured Sanderson’s new studios during the event, where he viewed the newly launched rose design and other patterns drawn from his Highgrove estate. The standout piece, The King’s Rose, blends his own rose with one of Sanderson’s vintage motifs. Other additions to the Highgrove x Sanderson line include The Stumpery, Rose Pergola, and Tetbury Stripe—now available as outdoor fabric.

Lisa Montague, CEO of Sanderson, noted that Highgrove’s gardens stand out due to the King’s 'architectural eye' and decades-long vision. Meanwhile, brands like Veronica Beard joined Chelsea in Bloom with striking installations, including an extraterrestrial-themed floral display by Popup Florist. Even fashion designers, such as Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding of Mother, attended the show for creative inspiration.

The festival and flower show have brought together horticulture, design, and retail in a week-long celebration. Sanderson’s new collection, directly inspired by King Charles’ estate, is now on display and available for purchase. The event continues to draw visitors until its close on Saturday.
