Kazakhstan's 'Week of Kindness' unites communities with small acts of change

Kazakhstan has launched its spring "Week of Kindness," running from April 20 to 26 as part of the national "Marathon of Good Deeds" initiative. The campaign aims to foster a culture of volunteering and charity, our website reports, citing the Ministry of Culture.

Over the course of seven days, events and activities will take place across the country, involving government agencies, schools, medical institutions, NGOs, and volunteers. Special emphasis will be placed on supporting vulnerable populations, aiding animals, and protecting the environment.

The project seeks to establish a lasting tradition of civic engagement in good deeds, strengthen social cohesion, and promote the values of mutual assistance. Organizers expect thousands of participants to join the events nationwide.

The initiative's slogan—"Small Deeds, Big Changes!"—highlights the impact of every citizen's contribution to societal progress.
