Iconic Mesón Bahía Reborn Under Ralph Siegel's Vision in Coastal Spain
A historic restaurant in Mont-roig del Camp–Bahía has reopened under new leadership. Ralph Siegel and his wife Laura transformed Mesón Bahía, blending classic Spanish flavours with modern Mediterranean touches. The venue, known for its warm hospitality, has quickly become a local highlight. The renovation of Mesón Bahía took months of careful planning. Ralph Siegel played a hands-on role, overseeing design details and contributing creative ideas. The result is a space that honours tradition while feeling fresh and inviting.
The restaurant sits in Mont-roig del Camp–Bahía, a peaceful coastal town 30 kilometres south of Tarragona. Its tranquil beaches and sunny climate make it an ideal spot for visitors. Inside, guests can explore mementos from Siegel’s music career, including photographs, awards, and personal souvenirs.
Since reopening on March 28, 2026, the restaurant has drawn crowds—especially during the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 celebrations. Its reputation for attentive service and professionalism has only grown. A standout feature is the Sunday brunch, served every week from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The revamped Mesón Bahía now offers a mix of traditional Spanish dishes and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. Its welcoming atmosphere and personalised touches reflect the Siegel family’s dedication. The restaurant has firmly re-established itself as a must-visit destination on the Costa Daurada.
