Those eager to explore the many ways to live sustainably and protect the climate have reason to celebrate: On Saturday, July 11, the Arnsberg Future Festival Schlabberkappes will once again take place around St. Petri Church in the Hüsten district. For the ninth time, local initiatives, community groups, the city of Arnsberg, and the association NEW Arnsberg—Sustainability. Commitment. Change. are inviting visitors to a vibrant festival dedicated to global sustainability goals and the future of the city. Blending information, dialogue, and entertainment, the event offers something for everyone. Registrations for the "Market of Opportunities" and the flea market are now open.

Starting at 11 AM, attendees can enjoy a diverse program. At the heart of the festival is the "Market of Opportunities," where sustainable projects, associations, NGOs, and initiatives showcase their work. Numerous stalls will offer regional, fair-trade, and organic products and foods. The lineup also includes the "Strawditorium"—a forum for talks and discussions—as well as a dynamic cultural and stage program to create a lively atmosphere.
