Worms' Zoo Unveils 'Haunted Cave' & New Calendar for Halloween

Worms' zoo is gearing up for a spooktacular Halloween with its 'Haunted Cave' event, while also unveiling a new calendar and offering pumpkin carving activities. Visitors can enjoy all these attractions with their regular admission ticket.

From October 28th to November 2nd, the zoo transforms into a child-friendly spooky trail with its 'Haunted Cave' event. This event is included in the regular admission price, offering great value for money. However, dog owners are advised to avoid the area during this time for the safety and comfort of all visitors.

The zoo's friends' association has published a new 2026 calendar focused on Eurasian wildlife. This calendar, priced at 10 euros, features the European wolf twice and is available for purchase at the zoo. All proceeds go directly towards caring for the zoo's animals. The calendar's photographs were captured by hobby photographer Alexander Brinkmann, although the designer remains unidentified.

Earlier in the month, on October 25th and 26th, the zoo hosted pumpkin carving activities. These took place from 1 to 4 PM, with pumpkins available for purchase on-site. All visitors who paid the regular admission fee were welcome to participate in this fun, seasonal event.

Worms' zoo has packed October with exciting events and offerings. The 'Haunted Cave' event provides a spooky thrill, the new calendar supports the zoo's animals, and the pumpkin carving activities offered a creative, family-friendly activity. With all these attractions included in the regular admission price, it's a great time to visit Worms' zoo.
