World's Largest Capsule Hotel Opens in London
Zedwell has launched the world's largest capsule hotel in the heart of London. Located above Piccadilly Circus tube station in the iconic London Pavilion building, this budget-friendly accommodation offers a unique twist on traditional central London stays, with rates starting as low as £30.
The hotel, operated by the CitizenM hotel group, boasts nearly 1,000 sleep pods, each equipped with a Hypnos mattress, Egyptian cotton bedding, individual ventilation, smart climate control, noise reduction, and ambient lighting. Guests can choose from dormitories ranging from eight to 100 capsules, with female-only options available.
Shared amenities include lounges, co-working spaces, secure storage, and communal bathrooms. This format, popular in Japan but less common in the UK, caters to a wide range of visitors, from solo travellers and corporate groups to commuters and friends exploring London together.
Zedwell's capsule hotel, the largest of its kind in the world, offers an affordable and innovative accommodation option in central London. With plans to expand the hotel with additional floors and amenities in the coming months, this unique concept is set to become a popular choice for budget-conscious travellers.
