Willich’s Mayor Invites Young Artists to Design His 2023 Christmas Cards

Mayor Christian Pakusch of Willich has launched a creative initiative for the third time. He invites local children and teens to design his official Christmas cards for 2023.

The Mayor's Office is accepting submissions until the end of November. Artwork can be sent by post or email to Cordula Schmidt, Mayor Pakusch's assistant. There are no limitations on technique or subject matter, encouraging young artists to explore their creativity.

The theme, however, should relate to the city of Willich. Four designs will be chosen, printed, and sent along with explanations and artist credits. The cards will reach fellow mayors, colleagues, local businesses, and friends of the city, even those in Japan.

Mayor Pakusch's Christmas card project offers a unique opportunity for young talents in Willich to showcase their skills and represent their city. The selected designs will brighten the festive season for recipients worldwide.
