Why Zinnias Are the Ultimate Low-Maintenance Garden Star
Zinnias remain a firm favourite among gardeners for their bright colours and easy care. These versatile flowers come in a range of sizes, from towering 40-inch stems to compact 12-inch dwarfs. With proper planting and maintenance, they can bloom continuously through the summer and into autumn. Zinnias thrive in full sun and need well-drained soil. Biofungicides containing *Bacillus subtilis* or *Trichoderma* can prevent common fungal problems like powdery mildew. Zinnias offer a variety of flower forms—single, semi-double, and fully double—with classic colours and unique patterns. Their adaptability makes them ideal for borders, containers, and cutting gardens.
