White Center’s lively charity concert and dance party kicks off February 5

A lively benefit concert and dance party is coming to White Center on Thursday, February 5. The Rotary Club of Burien and White Center will host the event at Tim’s Tavern, with all proceeds supporting local charities and community projects. Live music, dancing, and raffles will keep the evening entertaining for attendees.

The evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a Latin dance lesson, followed by a performance from The Pazific, an eight-piece Latin funk and soul band. Alongside the music, guests can take part in raffles and other activities throughout the night.

Tickets cost £25 each, with every penny going toward the Rotary Club’s initiatives. On top of ticket sales, 10% of all food and drink purchases made during the event will also be donated to the club. The Rotary Club of Burien and White Center has been serving the area for over 70 years. Funds raised will support a range of local organisations, including the White Center Food Bank, WestSide Baby, and the Highline Schools Foundation. Additional beneficiaries include the Environmental Science Center, Shop with a Cop, and scholarships for graduating seniors in the community.

The event promises an evening of music, dancing, and community spirit—all for a good cause. With ticket sales and a share of food and drink revenue going to charity, the fundraiser will directly benefit local programmes and services. Organisers hope for strong attendance to boost support for the Rotary Club’s ongoing work.
