WEX Expands EV Charging Network to Over 150,000 Ports in the US
WEX Inc., a global provider of payment solutions, has significantly expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network. The WEX EV Depot, launched in April 2025, offers a seamless and secure charging experience for fleet operators using the WEX fleet card at private chargers.
WEX customers now have access to over 150,000 public charging ports across the US through the WEX EV network. This extensive reach is further bolstered by partnerships with Revel, Lynkwell, and Ampcontrol. Revel's collaboration extends the accessibility of its fast-charging superhubs to more fleet operators.
The WEX EV En Route solution simplifies charging station access via the DriverDash mobile app or an RFID card. Through these partnerships, hundreds of new charging stations across the US now accept payments from WEX users. Lynkwell's integration provides corporate-grade payment capabilities across its charging networks, while Ampcontrol aims to enhance convenience and transparency for fleet operators.
With these strategic partnerships, WEX has significantly expanded its EV charging network, providing fleet operators with a comprehensive, secure, and convenient charging solution. The WEX EV Depot, along with the WEX EV En Route solution, now covers a vast range of charging locations, from depots to public and at-home charging points.
