Vladivostok’s Mordovtsev Street Reborn as a Green Urban Haven

A newly renovated pedestrian-friendly zone has opened on Mordovtsev Street in Vladivostok. The project, funded by local oil firm Vostochnaya Neftyanaya Kompaniya (VNK), transformed a once cluttered area into a modern, green space with rest areas and improved parking. The reconstruction covered the stretch from Okeansky Prospect to Aleutskaya Street. Before the upgrade, the street was packed with foundation blocks and parked cars, making it difficult for pedestrians to move around. The redesign included a full overhaul of underground utilities, fresh paving, and extensive landscaping. The revamped Mordovtsev Street now offers a more accessible and attractive space for residents and visitors. The combination of greenery, seating areas, and improved infrastructure aims to enhance daily life in the area. VNK’s investment has delivered a lasting upgrade to Vladivostok’s urban landscape.
