Vladivostok’s glowing red heart becomes a beacon of community pride

A striking two-metre-tall crimson heart has been unveiled in Vladivostok’s Green Corner microdistrict. The illuminated art piece stands near 43 Neibuta Street, serving as both a vibrant landmark and a focal point for the community. Residents and developers worked together to bring the bold installation to life.

The idea for the glowing heart originated with local residents. A neighbourhood designer drafted the model, while craftsmen from the area built the structure. It now rests on a ceramic pedestal engraved with the words The Heart of Green Corner—Right Here.

The art piece now anchors a revitalised public space that residents are already enjoying. Its combination of local creativity and practical upgrades reflects Green Corner’s ongoing development. The glowing heart has become both a landmark and a symbol of the neighbourhood’s growth.
