Vintage trams and Easter fun return to Vienna's Remise Museum in 2026
Wiener Linien's annual Easter festival will return to the Remise Transport Museum on April 4–5, 2026. The event promises family-friendly activities, vintage tram rides, and themed entertainment for transport enthusiasts of all ages.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Visitors can explore craft and painting stations, try subway and bus simulators, or join an Easter egg hunt among the museum's historic trams. Storytelling sessions for young transit fans will take place at 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Vintage tram rides will depart every half hour from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on each day. The Golden Egg Hunt, offering Wiener Linien merchandise as prizes, is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. Admission costs €12 for adults, €9 for ages 16–18, and €2 for children aged 7–15. Entry is free for those six and under.
The event combines transport history with Easter celebrations. Families can enjoy rides, games, and storytelling across the weekend. Tickets and activities are designed to cater to all age groups.
