Vienna's dance schools are set to bring the Carnival season to a close with a lively open-air finale. The event will take place on the Graben at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17. Everyone is invited to join in, with no need to sign up in advance.

The city's 25 dance schools provide lessons for all ages, starting from four years old. Classes cover a wide range of styles, from West Coast Swing and salsa to classic ballroom dances like the waltz and foxtrot. Specialty workshops also cater to different groups, including youth, students, singles, couples, and solo dancers.

Each year, these schools launch the ball season with an open-air quadrille on November 11. This time, the Carnival finale will showcase a mix of dances: a Carnival waltz, foxtrot, samba, and a quadrille. The performance aims to celebrate Vienna's rich dance tradition in a public, festive setting.

The event will wrap up Carnival celebrations with a free, open-air performance. Attendees can expect a variety of dances, from traditional ballroom to lively Latin rhythms. No prior registration is needed, making it easy for anyone to take part.
