During festivities of Pentecost, a sense of quiet reflection is commonly found across many places. However, the Pfister School courtyard in Fürth's city center undergoes a lively transformation instead.

Urban retreat with a creative twist: Pfisterschulhof transforms into a play-filled sanctuary, encompassing a kids' church.

The Pentecost holidays in Fürth see the Pfister schoolyard become an energetic playground for families during the second week, from June 16 to 21. This vibrant program, titled "Spielhof-Ferien," is open to all and does not require prior registration.

Organized by the collaboration of Spielhaus Fürth and the city’s youth department, the premise promises a diverse and interactive assortment of activities for children and youth. Daily offerings from 1pm to 6pm will include skateboard workshops, yoga and mini-parkour activity days, color days, and neighborhood gatherings [1][3].

A significant highlight of this whirlwind week is the Kinderkirchweih, scheduled for June 13, from 3pm to 6pm. Witness an array of creative game booths, a children's dance performance with rhythmic drum music, treats, and a raffle at this captivating event. Entrance fee is set at 2 euros per person [2].

Interested parties may also participate in a four-day project leading to the Kinderkirchweih, which includes lunch and costs 35 euros in total. Registration for this project can be completed via the city’s holiday program website, directly at the Spielhaus (Theaterstraße 7), or through an email to [email protected].

The "Spielhof-Ferien" program beneficiates from the support of the Schreier Family Foundation.
