Unveiling of a fresh restroom facility for motorhome users, now accessible on a spacious parking area.

Next week, residents and visitors of Hahnenklee, Goslar, will have a new addition to their public amenities - a modern WC facility equipped with an accessible cabin and a camper driver station.

The WC facility, managed by the city of Goslar, will feature an accessible cabin, intended for individuals with disabilities. Remarkably, those with the EuroKey will be able to use this cabin free of charge. For those unaware, the EuroKey is a universal key designed to grant access to public, barrier-free toilets across Europe. The key can be purchased online or at participating disability organisations and is recognized in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, and more.

In addition to the accessible cabin, the WC facility will also have a unisex cabin, which will be free for EuroKey holders. The camper driver station, located at the front of the facility, will consist of a sink for camping toilets, and in the future, a station for camper drivers will be available. Furthermore, the camper driver station will include a fresh water tap station.

The EuroKey has become an essential tool for ensuring that accessible toilets remain available for those who truly need them. It can typically be used at barrier-free toilets in public facilities, rest stops along highways, shopping centers, tourist attractions, airports, and railway stations. For more information, the official Eurokey website or disability organisations in the respective countries provide current maps and lists of locations where the key is accepted.

It's worth noting that a usage fee is charged for the accessible cabin at the WC facility in Hahnenklee, except for those with the EuroKey. This initiative aims to make the facility more inclusive and accessible for all, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their time in Hahnenklee, Goslar, with ease and convenience.

The WC facility in Hahnenklee, Goslar, not only offers an accessible cabin for individuals with disabilities but also promotes outdoor-living with a camper driver station. This camper station, equipped with a sink for camping toilets and a future camper driver station, is designed to cater to those enjoying home-and-garden, specifically those living a mobile lifestyle.
