Uncovering and Utilizing the Twisted Bud in Silksong: A Step-by-Step Guide
In the captivating world of Silksong, players embark on an intriguing journey as they navigate the mysterious lands of Shellwood. One of the most intriguing aspects of this adventure is the Rite of Rebirth quest, which unfolds after completing the Rite of the Pollip quest.
To initiate the Rite of Rebirth, you must first earn Greyroot's favour by completing the Rite of the Pollip quest in Shellwood. Once accomplished, Greyroot will infest you with the enigmatic Twisted Bud.
Upon being infested with the Twisted Bud, players will notice some significant changes. They will lose the ability to equip tools, bind to heal with silk, and will be stuck with the Witch Crest moveset. This transformation marks the beginning of an exciting new phase in the game.
The Twisted Bud can be found in a hidden chamber, nestled in the northwest of Bilewater. To reach this chamber, players can access it via Sinner's Road or by dropping down from the Whispering Vaults above. The hidden passage to the chamber is located in the corner of the room in the Whispering Vaults.
Once in the chamber, follow the sounds of distress to locate the Twisted Bud on a pedestal at the bottom of the worm pit. To reach this pit, players must jump over some cogs and drop down a giant shaft.
The Twisted Bud can be removed through the Infestation Operation quest. This quest begins by talking to Yarnaby in Greymoor, specifically at his locked bellhome in the upper-left section of Greymoor. After infestation, players start the quest chain from the Chapel of the Witch, then proceed through Shellwood toward Bellhart and enter the Bellway Station to continue the operation.
