Turn trash into holiday treasures at this free upcycling workshop

A free upcycling workshop will take place at the American Memorial Library on December 7, 2025. The event, called Upcycling for All, invites both children and adults to turn everyday waste into festive decorations. No prior experience is needed to join in.

The workshop runs from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, giving participants two hours to craft Christmas stars. Materials like old packaging, aluminium foil, tea light holders, and discarded CDs will be repurposed into holiday ornaments.

Attendees will leave with handmade decorations and ideas for sustainable crafting. The library has not announced a workshop leader, but all supplies will be provided. The event remains open to everyone, with no registration required.
