Trump Unveils Lincoln Bedroom Bathroom Renovation Amidst Shutdown

President Donald Trump recently revealed a renovation of the Lincoln Bedroom bathroom in the White House. The project, completed in black and white polished Statuary marble, has sparked curiosity about its details and timing, especially amidst the ongoing government shutdown in the USA.

Trump announced the renovation and shared before and after images on social media. The new design features gold detailing and a plush white robe adorned with a presidential seal, a departure from the original art deco green tile style from the 1940s. The president discussed this update during a White House dinner earlier this month.

Despite the government shutdown, the Trump administration has not used emergency funds to extend SNAP food assistance through November. This has raised questions about the prioritisation of funds for such projects.

The renovation of the Lincoln Bedroom bathroom, completed in a style Trump believes is more fitting for Abraham Lincoln's era, has been unveiled. Meanwhile, the government shutdown continues, with no emergency funds allocated to SNAP assistance for November.
