Australian swimwear brand Trend Ripple has launched its latest collection, named Octopus. The line features bold designs, eco-friendly materials, and hand-painted details. Founder Caroline drew inspiration from her Brazilian roots and a love for maritime themes.
The new range includes versatile bikinis and one-pieces, all crafted from 100 per cent recycled fabrics. Each piece showcases delicate watercolour octopus motifs, adding an artistic touch to the swimsuits.
Caroline, the founder of Trend Ripple, grew up in Brazil but later moved to Sydney. There, she struggled to find swimwear that matched the vibrant styles of her homeland. This frustration led her to create the brand, blending Brazilian energy with sustainable practices.
The Octopus Collection offers a mix of modern and classic silhouettes. The String Bikini Top White Octopus ($109) can be styled as a halter neck or crossed at the front for flexibility. Paired with the High-Waisted Bikini Bottom White Octopus ($99), it provides a flattering, opaque fit. For those preferring a one-piece, the One-Piece ($179) delivers a bold look. It features a Brazilian-cut bottom, high legs, and an open back—reminiscent of 1990s glamour. The collection also includes refined designs with signature cut-outs, ensuring a variety of options. Every item in the range is hand-painted with delicate octopus illustrations.
