Residents in neighbouring Bensberg can find these bags at Edeka-Markt Teske and OBI-DIY Market, An der Bahn. Unfortunately, none of the mentioned stores sell paper bags for leaf and branch disposal.
Cost and Registration
Each paper bag costs 0.80 euros. To arrange for the collection of leaves and brushwood, registrations must be made by email at [email protected]. The required information includes your name, street, house number, and the number of leaf bags to be collected. Registrations for the October collection can be made immediately, while registrations for November and December collections will open on the 10th of October and 14th of November, respectively.
Collection Process
The municipal waste management department will collect leaves and brushwood from city gardens from October to December 2025. Leaves will be collected in paper bags, and one bundle of brushwood (maximum diameter 30 cm, maximum length 1 m) per collection point will be accepted. Please note that plastic or jute bags are not allowed for the collection.
