Thompson Hotels Opens Luxurious Houston Property With Rooftop Pool & Spa
Thompson Hotels is set to open its latest property, The Thompson Houston, in the heart of downtown Houston. Adjacent to Buffalo Bayou Park, the 172-room hotel promises a blend of modern design and luxurious amenities.
The Thompson Houston stands tall at 36 floors, boasting a sleek glass and steel design. Guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including an outdoor rooftop, infinity pool, cabanas, and green space for relaxation. For those seeking rejuvenation, the hotel offers a spa with six treatment rooms, a sauna, and a salon. Fitness enthusiasts can make use of the 24-hour fitness center.
The hotel's dining options are equally impressive. Upon opening, guests can indulge in Soi 7, with plans to introduce Chardon, a French brasserie, and Buck 40, an upscale supper club by fall 2024. Cash rates start at $400 per night for dates in March.
The Thompson Houston participates in the World of Hyatt program. Award nights start at 17,000 points during off-peak periods and can reach up to 23,000 points on peak dates. Members can earn points by transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points at a 1:1 ratio, or through welcome bonuses and spending on Hyatt's co-branded credit cards.
