Philly pools closed for construction this summer ☹️
Some public pools won't be operational this summer due to construction work related to the Rebuild project or capital repairs 🏗️. Unfortunately, 9 facilities will not open for business, including:

- Cecil B. Moore Pool
- Cohen (Hillside) Pool
- F.J. Myers Pool
- McVeigh Pool
- Sample Pool
- Ziehler Pool

Hiring lifeguards has proven challenging in the past, with public pools experiencing lifeguard shortages in the past. However, this year, things are looking up as per Commissioner Slawson.
