Subaru Unveils New Cabin Design: The Comfortable, Spacious Connection Hub

Subaru has unveiled its new cabin design, offering a spacious, airy feel with a lounge-like atmosphere. The new interior, called the Subaru Connection Hub, features a sofa-like dashboard and a tuck-and-roll style, providing a comfortable and inviting space for drivers and passengers.

The cabin is adorned with areas of greys and blues, avoiding a sporty appearance. A broad, cloth-wrapped panel serves as the dashboard, with a main bar and distant air vents. Hard buttons below the screen offer shortcuts for frequent climate and ADAS functions.

Seating is a highlight of the new design. Seats are snug, soft, and supportive, with top versions offering ventilation, massage, and heating. The rear has ample leg, foot, and headroom, with a flat floor on all models. However, unlike the previous model, individual sliding seats have been removed, and rear backrests in top trims now recline for added comfort.

The boot is spacious at 565 litres, regardless of powertrain, and the PHEV retains the same 55-litre fuel tank as the MHEV. The cabin features a large touchscreen divided into tiles for music, navigation, and climate control, ensuring easy access to key functions.

Subaru's new Connection Hub cabin offers a blend of comfort and functionality. With its lounge-like atmosphere, supportive seating, and spacious boot, it promises a pleasant driving experience. The retention of the same fuel tank capacity in the PHEV and MHEV models is also a notable feature.
