Solingen community rallies to save Schrodtberg’s green spaces from development

On Sunday, November 23, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the association 'Der analoge Raum e.V.' hosts an event at 93 Beethovenstraße in Solingen. The aim is to rally support for an online petition to preserve Schrodtberg and its surrounding green spaces. A companion photo exhibition on the theme of 'Nature' will be on display.

The event features a presentation, a reading by Ira Goyne, and poetry recitations by Anna Maryjewska. Klaus Karmann will be present to answer questions about the 'Schrodtberg Under Nature Protection' initiative. Despite previous efforts, Schrodtberg has not yet been granted nature reserve status. To attend, advance registration by email is required: [email protected]. There will also be a crafting table with sustainable activities for younger visitors.

The event is a call to action for the local community to support the preservation of Schrodtberg and its green spaces. While Schrodtberg has not yet been granted nature reserve status, the event organisers hope to change this through their online petition.
