SiLC’s Eyeonic Trace LiDAR Scanner Named 2025 Automate Innovation Awards Finalist
SiLC Technologies’ Eyeonic Trace Class 1 Laser Line Scanner has been named a finalist for the 2025 Automate Innovation Awards. The compact device uses advanced LiDAR technology to deliver precise measurements in industrial settings. A panel of five judges will assess the finalists live at the upcoming Automate Show in May.
The Eyeonic Trace is built on SiLC’s proprietary chip-integrated FMCW LiDAR, offering high-speed inspection and measurement. It can capture up to 1 million data points per second with sub-millimetre accuracy. The scanner operates at 1550nm using a Class 1 eye-safe laser, making it suitable for industrial environments.
Designed for versatility, the device measures objects ranging from small parcels to large automotive panels or high-temperature materials. It performs reliably in any lighting condition and can measure distances up to 10 metres on low-reflectivity surfaces. Its compact size—200 x 135 x 75 mm—allows easy mounting above conveyor belts, assembly lines, or robotic arms. Dr. Mehdi Asghari, CEO of SiLC Technologies, stated that the company was honoured to be recognised as a finalist. The winners will be announced during the Automate Show, where the judging panel will evaluate the most innovative solutions live on stage.
The Eyeonic Trace stands out for its precision, speed, and adaptability in demanding industrial applications. The final decision on the 2025 Automate Innovation Awards will be made public in May. The event will showcase the latest advancements in automation technology.
