Shelby Vanhoy's Stylish NYC Apartment Hits Market for $8,500 a Month

A stylish two-bedroom apartment on Central Park West, once home to interior designer Shelby Vanhoy, is now up for rent. The property has been listed for $8,500 a month—significantly higher than its previous rates in 2019 and 2020.

The apartment first appeared on the market a month ago. One prospective tenant even recognised it from Vanhoy's Instagram posts, where she showcased her DIY projects.

Vanhoy's personal touches, such as faux moldings and decorative tile work, will stay in place. However, her furniture and some light fixtures will be removed before the new tenant moves in. Listing agent Cristina Lopez described the decor as a blend of 'French European, cozy cottage, and traditional' styles. She praised Vanhoy's careful curation of the space. Records show the same apartment rented for $6,100 a month in 2020 and $6,500 in 2019—far below its current asking price.

The property's new rental price reflects its updated design and Vanhoy's influence. While no details about her past use of the space for social media are publicly available, her renovations have clearly added value. The apartment remains available for tenants willing to pay the premium.
