The city of Krefeld is gearing up for an exciting carnival season, as the 2025/26 session marks the beginning of a new era. Alexander Scheuß has been chosen as the Krefeld children's prince, and Maxime I. Plisz will serve as his guide.

Alexander Scheuß, who will begin his "jecke" career in this role, has been serving as the Krefeld youth's guide during the 2025/26 carnival session. In this position, he is responsible for leading and representing the younger generation during the carnival festivities. His duties include organising youth participation, promoting carnival traditions among young people, and acting as a liaison between the youth groups and the carnival committee.

Maxime I. Plisz, Alexander I.'s guide for the Krefeld carnival, was also chosen for this role. The official proclamation ceremony for Alexander I. and Maxime I. Plisz will take place on November 29th at the parish hall of Herz Jesu, Kneinstraße 64.

During the Rosenmontag parade, Alexander Scheuß expressed his interest in becoming the Krefeld children's prince. His enthusiasm and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and he has been chosen to lead the city's youth in the upcoming carnival season.
