Residents of Yakutia can save and rewatch programs of Yakutian TV channels using the video archive in IPTV MTS
MTS has rolled out a new 'Video Archive' feature for Yakut-language TV channels in Yakutsk. The update, launched in December 2025, lets subscribers catch up on missed programmes from the past three days. Local channels like NVK Sakha, Mamont, Tooku, and Yakutia 24 are now part of the service.
The feature arrives as part of MTS’s push to expand digital TV options in the Sakha Republic. Subscribers with fixed home internet and digital TV packages can access it without extra charges. Interactive tools—such as pause, rewind, and recording—are included, along with a catalogue of films and older shows.
MTS designed the service to meet rising demand for on-demand indigenous content. It also aligns with broader efforts to preserve Yakut culture as digital services grow in the region. The company aims to strengthen its position in the local market by offering more flexible viewing options. Viewers can now watch programmes they missed within a 72-hour window. This applies to all four participating channels, ensuring wider access to Yakut-language media.
The 'Video Archive' feature is live for all eligible MTS IPTV users in Yakutsk. It provides tools for managing viewing time and supports cultural initiatives through digital access. The service reflects the company’s response to subscriber needs and regional digital growth.
