Replaced cinema sign in Krasnoyarsk

The facade of the Dom Kinocenter in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, has been updated. The relief on the building has been cleaned, and a new sign has been installed beneath it.

The new sign is more concise, featuring the name of the institution and the year of its founding – 1910. The improvements were made in preparation for the cinema theatre's 115th anniversary, which it will celebrate this year.

Originally established on September 19, 1910, the cinema theatre was first named "Pategraf." After the revolution in 1917, it was renamed "Ars." The name "Rот-Фронт" was adopted in 1932, making it a state-owned property. In 1942, it was renamed again to "Октябрь," and a monumental relief of the same name was installed on the building's façade in 1977. The institution became known as "Dom Kinocenter" or "Dom Kino" in 1995.
