Renovation in progress: Osteria am Sand expected to launch by end of March
Dishin' Up Some Good Times: L'Osteria in Harburg
Something's cookin' in the open-air shopping centre at Neue Straße and the market in Harburg's revamped Bolero location. Preparations are in full swing for the coming of the restaurant, L'Osteria. Rumor has it, they'll be serving up their delicious fare by the end of March!
In an exclusive chat with us, Thomas Roß of L&B Sysgastro GmbH shared the inside scoop. "After battling bureaucratic red tape due to a structural extension, our landlord finally handed over the keys in late November," shared Thomas, with L&B Sysgastro GmbH being led by Dirk Block. This means keen foodies can expect the Italian eatery to debut approximately nine months behind schedule.
The eatery promises cozy indoor seating for over 100 patrons and 40 al fresco spots. Much to everyone's delight, they plan to dish out a smorgasbord of Italian delights, including pizza, pasta, salads, and antipasti. L'Osteria belongs to a global system catering chain founded back in 1999, boasting over 160 restaurants across nine countries.
The brand's signature flavors are not entirely a secret—after all, they didn't become a success story overnight. Take their Insalata Pollo e Formaggi, for instance, a delightful salad medley comprising baby greens, grilled chicken breast, a refreshing cucumber-radish mix, flavorful shepherd's cheese, juicy pomegranate seeds, crunchy walnuts, and a homemade dressing to tie it all together[1].
Though the Harburg branch of L'Osteria hasn't made any official announcements, we can't wait for its grand opening! Keep your eyes peeled for updates, or reach out to them directly to stay in the know!
Other than the Italian eatery, L'Osteria, the home-and-garden section of Neue Straße's open-air shopping centre may also witness a fresh interior-design makeover, considering L'Osteria's affiliation with a global system catering chain known for its sophisticated lifestyle standards. With L'Osteria's planned indoor seating for over 100 patrons and 40 al fresco spots, the revamped Bolero location might serve as an attractive destination, blending the tastes of Italian cuisine and potentially, a revitalized ambiance.
