Rare Giallo Modena Ferrari Enzo Shatters Auction Records at $17.875 Million

A rare Giallo Modena Ferrari Enzo fetched a record-breaking $17.875 million at auction, surpassing the previous Enzo record of $6 million. The sale took place in January 2026 at Mecum Auctions in Kissimmee, Florida. The Enzo, one of only 127 produced for the US market and one of just 36 painted in Giallo Modena yellow, had been driven just 649 miles and featured extensive factory customization, including two-tone Rosso and Giallo seats. The buyer's identity remains unknown.

The auction also saw other Ferraris from the collection fetch record sums. A red Ferrari F50 sold for $12.21 million, while a 288 GTO went for $8.525 million—nearly double its previous record. An F40 with only 458 miles reached $6.6 million, and a LaFerrari Coupe sold for $6.71 million, with its Aperta version fetching $11 million. Additional sales included a 599 GTO for $3.96 million, a 430 Scuderia Spider 16M for $1.98 million, and a 360 Challenge Stradale for $1.155 million. Each of these transactions set new benchmarks for their respective models.

The auction results confirm the enduring demand for ultra-rare Ferraris, particularly low-mileage examples with unique specifications. The Giallo Modena Enzo now stands as the most expensive Enzo ever sold, while the collection as a whole achieved unprecedented prices across multiple models.
